KHD APPEAL

KHD  is one of Egypt’s most important sites.

It contains over a thousand burials dating to before, during and after Egypt’s unification by King Narmer in c. 3100 BC, and is ideally placed to understand human health, wealth and lifestyle at the very beginning of Egyptian history.

The site is threatened by flooding, erosion and development, so please help us save what we can before it  is too late!

What You Can Do

ECHO is a non-profit organisation and a registered charity, run entirely by volunteers. All of our funding comes from private sponsors who share our common vision concerning the true importance of Egyptian cultural heritage, and the absolute necessity of preserving it for future generations to enjoy.

Please consider a one-off or rolling sponsorship to help us carry out this important work!

Many thanks
